Ground Turkey stir fry

Ingredients:

  • 1.25lb ground turkey
  • 2 c cooked instant rice
  • 16oz bag of frozen stir fry vegetables
  • 1 tsp of garlic salt
  • teriyaki sauce or soy sauce 

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, on medium heat, cook and crumble the ground turkey until it is just about cooked through (5 to 6 minutes). While the turkey is cooking, prepare the instant rice and set the frozen vegetables out to slightly thaw. 
  2. When the turkey is done, add the stir fry vegetables to the skillet. Stir in the vegetables, then add the garlic salt and stir to combine. Cook the turkey and vegetable mixture until the vegetables are hot and soft. 
  3. To serve, add a bottom layer of rice to a bowl, then top with the turkey and vegetables and add your choice of teriyaki or soy sauce.
