Skillet BrusselS Sprouts
These are an easy, vegetable side for almost any dish. I tend to serve these brussels sprouts with pork dishes (pork tenderloin or pork chops).
Ingredients:
- 1 bag shaved brussels sprouts (10 oz)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette
- 1/2 tsp ground cracked pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (I prefer fine crystal sea salt)
- 3/4 c shaved or shredded parmesan
Instructions:
- Heat butter in a skillet on medium heat.
- Once butter is melted, pour brussels sprouts into the skillet. Stir to coat brussels sprouts in the melted butter and cook for two minutes.
- Pour in the balsamic vinaigrette and stir.
- Season with ground cracked pepper and salt.
- Cook and stir brussels sprouts until they are soft and slightly browned.
- Remove brussels sprouts from heat and top with parmesan while warm.
