Skillet BrusselS Sprouts

These are an easy, vegetable side for almost any dish. I tend to serve these brussels sprouts with pork dishes (pork tenderloin or pork chops).

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag shaved brussels sprouts (10 oz)
  •  2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette 
  • 1/2 tsp ground cracked pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (I prefer fine crystal sea salt) 
  • 3/4 c shaved or shredded parmesan 

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a skillet on medium heat.
  2.  Once butter is melted, pour brussels sprouts into the skillet. Stir to coat brussels sprouts in the melted butter and cook for two minutes. 
  3. Pour in the balsamic vinaigrette and stir. 
  4. Season with ground cracked pepper and salt.
  5. Cook and stir brussels sprouts until they are soft and slightly browned.
  6. Remove brussels sprouts from heat and top with parmesan while warm.
